About US - JOEY R MARINO FILMS

Our story

I am an independent Director/Producer/Writer from Boston along with my wife who is in charge of production design/art directing. I Grew up as a piano player and later worked in the high-rise construction business. For the last 12 years, I've been directing/producing/writing films in Boston. From pre-production planning all the way through to release. Along with many contacts our loyal crew includes the Ass't Director, Director of Photography, Sound Engineer, Focus Puller, Gaffers, Grips, PA's, Colorist, Editor, Hair/Makeup, and Post Production Sound. We have 3 films in DEVELOPMENT STAGE and 1 in DEVELOPMENT/PRE-PRODUCTION.

We are in development/pre-production for our upcoming feature a crime drama, LITTLE MIKEY, which is based on true events is coming soon! 

The film takes place in Boston and will be shot in actual locations.

Plot Summary

In the volatile streets of Boston neighborhoods during the  1970s, and '80s, the fierce rivalry between Irish,  Italian and Black neighborhoods fuels a turbulent clash of culture, power, and survival. As tensions rise and loyalties are tested, a group of young men from all sides must navigate the brutal tribalism that defines their city, where family ties and neighborhood pride come at a deadly cost
